Mystipies' (finally) gets 'Yelp'd' on the popular food rating site, Yelp.com.
Site member, Johnny J writes in his 5 star rating (the highest available):

"...I can't believe no one has yelped Mystipies yet. We (my better half and I) stumbled these very tasty morsels when we were at Mission Pie. we were picking up some dessert for later and K. saw them and had to have one for later. We choose the chicken and mushroom. we had eaten so much that day that when my fiance brought it out I didn't think I could even try a bite. But I did!! Ok, Mystipies are like hand held pot pies but x 1000. The crust was buttery and flaky but didn't fall apart in my hands. The filing was even more tasty. Anyone looking for a good snack should stop by Mission Pie and pick one up. I don't know where else is carrying them yet but I bet they catch on."

Mystipies Makes SF Mag Online's "Five Great Pies" List

Mystipies' makes Scott Hocker's list of great pies to pick up in San Francisco. He starts off by sayin': "The truest test of a pastry chef’s talent lies in a simple pie. A flaky crust and a sumptuous filling are straightforward skills that can take a lifetime to master. Here are five places that have it down cold."

and specifically about our Chicken Curry Pie:

"...This South African–style savory turnover is stuffed with chicken and potatoes and has just a touch of heat. The pastry is so flaky, good luck not getting pieces all over you."

Mystipies has the privilege of being the only "savory" pie on the list.
